Source Groups
Source Groups are used to classify and connect Sources throughout Breeze. Source Groups are commonly used for organizing Sources by scope or in alignment with common frameworks, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
For all intents and purposes, you can consider Group to mean Category in alignment with the GHG Protocol.
Breeze organizations are set up with a default set of Source Groups based on the GHG Protocol’s corporate standard scope 1, 2, and 3 categories. You can always edit and/or delete these.
What do Source Groups do?
- Source Groups help you organize your Sources by grouping like Sources together.
- When new Sources are added and assigned to this Source Group, the default scopes will be automatically applied, though they can be overridden.
