Tags

Tags are used to classify and connect places and data points throughout Breeze. Tags are commonly used for operational divisions or other reporting structures.

What do tags do?

If a Data Point is entered at a Place with tags assigned, all of the place’s tags will be attached to the data for future analysis.
Data Points can be tagged directly, which can be useful for audit or other purposes.

Fields on Tags

All tags have the same fields, which make it easy to manage and understand your tags

Here is a brief description of each one:

Field Name	Description	Example
Name*	The tag name. This is used to identify this tag throughout the system.	“Office”
Description	A description of this tag for future reference and for other members of your organization.	“This tag should be added to all offices.”
