Source Templates

Source Templates are pre-configured Sources designed to streamline the setup of your GHG Inventory by providing commonly used emissions data. They help you quickly establish your organization's footprint or add new activities without starting from scratch.

Each Source Template includes essential details such as:

• Name and definition
• Source Group (category)
• Unit Type (e.g., Energy Mass)
• Climate Factor (emission factor for GHG calculations)
• Additional relevant data based on the specific activity

While Source Templates provide a solid starting point, you can fully customize them to fit your needs.

When you create a Source from a Source Template, a link is established. This link enables Breeze to suggest updates to your Source over time. Even if you modify details like the name or description, the link remains intact—unless you choose to remove it.
